well its hard to switch series like that bc Community builds its jokes on continuity from the first season. I didn’t like it right away, it takes time (maybe 4 or 5 episodes) like all great shows. Season 1’s maybe my fave actually

I don’t know, it was more to do with the fact that none of the characters were likeable in my opinion. Also it wasn’t my sense of humour.

So I have watched the first episode of Community.

I didn’t laugh once.

I know everyone has said to stick with it, but I didn’t like a single character. The females were annoying and the men were just stupid.

I know I didn’t enjoy the first season of Parks And Rec but there was some parts that made me laugh and I liked a lot of the characters which made me stick with it and ended up loving all the other episodes. But Community doesn’t look like it’s for my sense of humour.

I can’t decide if I want to carry on with it.

Meh.

Had an amazing day catching up with an old friend.

I’d like to point out, she’s not old, we just haven’t seen each other in over three years.

It was so good seeing her, I thought we would struggle for conversation but we didn’t and spent five hours of non-stop catch up talk.

We went to Books And Beans, which is truly a lovely place, then we hit the shops. We resorted back into our old secondary school selves and bought matching maxi skirts. Yup. We are back to buying matching clothes. You also know you’re cool when you get asked about fashion. I was being her personal shopper. I could do this for a living. I’m that good.

I then had to go to the orthodontist with her. It wasn’t even for me and I got scared!

Then we got into deep conversation about her religion which I just love, she told me everything about why she wears a head scarf and everything. I had no idea how interesting it was.

Damn good day I’d say. Beautiful sunshine as well.

Meeting my friend tomorrow (or I guess technically today).

We are going to a place called Books And Beans. I had no idea where it is but I ended up Googling it and it looks, well, perfect. Seriously.

It’s filled with second hand books i.e. it will smell of old books which I love. It’s got a real old style, vintage look about it. Kind of jazzy.

I’ve already picked out what I’m having; peppermint tea and a cranberry and brie sandwich. Is it bad that I’m more excited about going to this place than meeting my friend whom I have not seen in three/four years?
